What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel for marketing and why should every online marketer make one?

It is a marketing strategy to convince potential customers to buy items from your business. It's a sales process by which a person visits your website seeking information that could help to solve a particular issue. With certain tools, you can learn how to develop a relationship and build confidence with every visitor.

This will allow you to know the wants and needs of each visitor. This will help you to provide the most accurate possible information for all users. If you gain the trust of a visitor they are more likely to purchase your products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

At some point, many customers turn into very loyal clients who are ready to buy any item that you promote on your site. Marketing funnels are a compilation of the various steps that are involved in turning a website visitor to a buyer who is willing to buy whatever you sell.

For any internet marketer that is their final goal. This can easily be accomplished with a well-constructed funnel.

Your promotional materials are attracting people's attention and guiding them to your funnel. Once they've completed the form on your PERSONAL lead capture page they'll be entered into the funnel. Because no one will opt in to your business lead capture page, I said "personal". They want to join as a leader, not a business.

The lead capture page is where they enter into the funnel - when they click that "Sign Up now" or "Enter Here" button, they enter a whole new concept of network marketing.

They are getting ready for it, which is the best thing. It's their decision. They have nothing to offer you other than your leadership skills and mentor, and as someone who can help to increase leads for their business.

This is how an advertising funnel works.

To draw people to your products, you need to provide them with a freebie to be offered on the "front end". You must sign up to get the product (also known as opt-in) and enter your email address and name. Then, they will be added to your email mailing list.

You can now add these contacts to your email list so you can email them with other relevant offers.

Right after sign-up to receive the free offer, they will be taken to a webpage that has a low-cost offer or what's known as a trip wire offer. This is the point when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of your funnel.

If they purchase the bargain price offer, they will be taken to another related offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). If the buyer buys this higher priced offer, they'll be taken to the next related product with a higher cost. You can continue this process for a number of more.
